Surrounded by the rural landscape of Sukagawa, Fukushima, Fairy Tale Inn Yoneya is an inn built around the concept of “connecting hearts.” It cherishes the connections between people, and between people and nature.

Originally starting as a rice shop, Yoneya takes pride in cooking organically and naturally grown rice in traditional iron pots (kama-daki) at just the right moment. Alongside the rice, guests can enjoy fresh, healthy ingredients like pesticide- and fertilizer-free vegetables, pasture-raised Iwate Shorthorn beef, and eggs from naturally raised chickens—all thoughtfully sourced from trusted producers.

Each guest room has its own unique character, including newly renovated rooms from 2024 and private suite villas set apart from the main building. All rooms feature flowing natural hot spring baths. The inn also actively reduces its environmental footprint by reusing geothermal heat from the hot spring with a heat pump system and by implementing solar power generation.
